Oh Molly. Molly, Molly, Molly. What a special girl she is. I had no idea what a miracle she was to her parents before they arrived for their session and I was so in awe of her momma’s story and the trials they went through to have this baby girl! What an inspiration and promise of hope this little sweetie brings with her and I myself am so grateful to have met her family and to have heard their story. It’s been on my mind a lot lately as my own family has seen some tragedy at the loss of my sister’s baby this past month. If Momma feels like posting a bit about how Molly arrived, I would love that! ; )

Such pure sweetness. Avery & Grayson came to see me on day 10. I asked their mommy if I could take their photos for some portfolio shots and some practice on twins since I don’t see them as often! I honestly am so in awe of twins, such a special and crazy phenomenon and I am in such awe of their mommy!! HOLY MOLY, I think it shows just how strong, controlled, patient and amazing a person is if they can do twins!! Not that she had a choice in the matter. haha.

Maevey arrived waaay earlier than expected at 6 weeks premature! But all is well and at 4 weeks old for her session she was still the tiniest, sleepiest little sweetie! I think it’s pretty cool to have the newborn goodness last all that much longer as it’s such a fleeting time in a child’s life.

Precious Dior, such a sweet face. I enjoyed cuddling her and chatting with her mommy! Big travel plans in her future as her daddy will be moving them out to San Fran for his school and work! Gottta Love the adventures of a new and growing family! Reminds me of my own as my Hubby works away at his degree. Speaking of which! Check out his first published article here! LOVE HIM!!

So let’s be honest here. I am really bad at blogging lately! It’s just so easy to get put on the back burner with the many happenings in this home! So I’m making it a priority this week to blog at least one session a day to get the blogging ball rolling and since I have put it in print, I can’t fail! right?

Isaac is sooo cute! He has the perfect skin and the perfect head of hair! But I have to say he gave me a run for my money! This boy was not a sleeper! But he also gave me some gorgeous poses in the end and one of them is currently gracing the walls of Echildren.

Holy Girls, batman! I’ve seen o many more little girls than boys this year so far and I’m not complaining, it feeds my girlie prop addiction. Haha, good thing I’m overstocked! Maryn’s mommy is a friend of mine and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing their family before. I always feel so privileged when a family trusts me with their special memories on a regular basis! It fuels my passion for photography and tests me to show them something new and prove they made the right choice…again! I feel so grateful! Maryn, I think knew this and made me work, haha and I felt so accomplished at the end so thanks for that Maryn!

Mackenzie was already 14 days old for our session and oh so snuggly. She has just the prettiest face I think and is gonna be such a heartbreaker! I am so glad I have boys! haha, just kidding. I do want a sweet little girl like Mackenzie but it scares me!! You could tell her parents are already so enamored with her, just how it should be.

Sweet, sweet Ella. She was so good for me! There was a moment where I thought her big brother Golden wasn’t going to join her for any shots and she just stayed in the bucket, not a peep, snug as can be….eventually he came around, not saying a I bribed him or anything…a pleasure to hang out with this loving family again and I sure hope to see more of them!

Kash was my 1st session of the year and 1 of only 2 boys out of the 12 I’ve had the pleasure of meeting this year so far. I just adore his name and I adore his family. Their younger daughter is my son’s first crush and I’m pretty proud that he has such good taste!! Dad is a big time outdoors man and they brought me the cutest props, including antlers! Davey Crocket has nothing on this little guy!
