What to wear

Clothing is so important in a photograph!

I recommend wearing layers as much as possible to create visual interest.  I also recommend clothing with texture like ruffles, buttons, ribbon, embroidery, chunky or knit sweaters/cardi’s….anything that adds another dimension to those layers! I’ve added some samples below and will continue to add more as time goes on. A great place that I often visit is WARDROBE WEDNESDAY. Click the link, it’s their facebook page and you will never run out of ideas! Oh! And accessorize!! I have tons of hats, scarves and headbands I can bring for kiddies but boots, cute, colourful leggings, necklaces, etc. all those little treasures add depth!

Try picking a few colors and sticking to them for the whole family.  Dark jeans are always a winner and you can pair them with coordinating colors.  don’t be too matchy matchy, please keep each person a little unique but stay within the color scheme you’ve chosen.

Some great places for finding unique and fun outfits:

Zara

Piperlime

The Gap

Old Navy

ModCloth
